An exciting whale watching tour from Dalvik, located in the North of Iceland, close to Akureyri. This is truly an adventure at sea with an excellent sighting success. On this Whale watching adventure, we sail through the picturesque landscapes of Eyjafjordur Fjord and try our luck at sea fishing all the while surrounded by the majestic mountains of Tröllaskagi just off the Arctic Circle.
In Dalvík you have an exceptionally good chance of encountering the great humpback whale and often we spot white-beaked dolphins, minke whales, small harbor porpoises and sometimes even the majestic blue whale. Overall we have seen whales or dolphins in approximately 98% of our whale watching tours. The whale watching tour is built up as an adventure where you get the chance to experience sailing in a classic oak boat while searching for the great creatures of the ocean. With a combination of an excellent chance of seeing whales, you can also expect more fun with sea fishing and ending your day with a tasting of freshly caught cod, haddock, pollock and/or Atlantic catfish.
Whale watching is an activity you should not miss out on while visiting Iceland so join us on our adventure!
