This perfect combination allows you to experience the Golden Circle’s most visited attractions, Gullfoss, Geysir and Þingvellir, before ending your tour at the magical Secret Lagoon. Þingvellir National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and you will get to see where the Viking Parliament was founded in the 10th century. You will also get to see the tectonic plates that are slowly drifting apart while admiring the beautiful landscape that surrounds you. Geysir is a hot spring area with the popular geysir Strokkur erupting hot water up to 20 meters high every 4-8 minutes, with many smaller (but very active) geysirs around it. Next, you will visit the impressive and widely photographed Gullfoss waterfall. If you are lucky you might see a rainbow in the mist from the powerful waterfall.
Last but not least you will make a relaxing stop to the Secret Lagoon, one of the oldest natural geothermal pools in Iceland. It is in a secluded area in the Icelandic countryside, surrounded by smaller natural hot springs. Temperatures are between 36-40° C, so soak up the magic and beauty that this lagoon has to offer before returning to Reykjavík.
Please note: there is a lunch stop on the way (lunch not included in the price).
