Garðskagi cover from south west wind

21.Apr 2015

Today we sailed from the port of Keflavík, as the wind was from south west the coast of the Garðskagi gave us cover. Our captain set course to the north and we sailed alongside the coast. We observed bird movement, looking closely around the coast for marine mammals.

When we got further north the sea got a bit rougher and our captain set course to the south west. After going through the area closely we returned to the harbour in Keflavík.

Since we had no sightings today complimentary bookings were offered to our passengers.
