WHALE WATCHING EXPRESS

It’s a nice day for whale watching as the sea is calm and there’s not much wind. We sailed out of the harbor and it didn’t take too long to find the first cetaceans. It was a group of harbor porpoises that we could see for a while, very cute! We then headed farther into the bay to try to find some whales and we did! At first, we encounter some minke whales that were too shy, but soon after we found more, popping out to the surface, here and there. That’s when we heard about some white-beaked dolphins with another boat. When we arrived in the area, they were quite sociable and even came to check us, looking to the boat with curious movements. It was really nice to see them, fishing along some other minkes that we could see even better! We had 3 species this morning so we happily went back to the harbor. What a great start to our day!
