Nice sunny day with many Minke whales and White beaked Dolphins.

9 am and 13 pm tour

Sunshine in Reykjavik 🙂 We started our trip with a wonderful view at Mount Esja and Snæfellsnes Glacier which is the center of the Earth, at least according to Jules Verne and his story. We encountered at least 6 different Minke Whales but there were more of them around. Some of them were quite busy feeding and hold their breath for a long time and other ones got curious and approached our boat. On the way back we spotted some White Beaked Dolphins and got a closer look at them before they speed ed up to hunt.

10 am and 14 pm tour.

The weather conditions were excellent today 🙂 We saw around the 10 Minke whales and at least 20 White beaked Dolphins. One Minke was surfacing next to the boat,. You could smell the breath of the Minke. The White beaked Dolphins were just jumping around the boat. It was AMAZING !!
