Southwest wind and brief white beaked dolphins

25.Nov 2015

Today there was some wave movement, rain and wind from the south west. When we came to the feeding ground it stopped raining and visibility improved.

We sailed to the north west searching well the northern part of the feeding ground. We saw some bird movement mainly northern fulmar. Shortly after our captain had turned around, altering the course to south east, we saw dorsal fins appearing briefly belonging to a pod of white beaked dolphins. They dived again just as soon but we searched for this pod further but it did not reappear.

Since the sighting were very brief our passengers were offered a complimentary booking so they could try again.
