A Humpback whale had made its way towards us.

Today we expected some slightly wavy sea conditions therefore, we all got layered up and went outside the upper decks to face the Icelandic wind.

Introducing the passengers to the 3B’s of whale watching, everyone could join our watch for these beautiful animals. We soon could spot some activity far ahead of us. A larger blow had appeared leading us to the assumption that one of the larger whales species must be around us. While getting closer we could confirm, a humpback whale had made its way towards us. We all got lucky to observe the individual in its natural habitat for quite some time. A beautiful experience this afternoon.
