Northern Lights Playing Seek and Hide!

While I was letting passengers go on board, the sky was pretty clear. We could see plenty of stars in the sky. So I had great hopes to see the northern lights tonight! At 21:00, we sailed out on our comfortable boat Lilja. The sky was partially clear but more and more clouds were coming. I was scanning the sky with my camera to see if some lights were starting to show up and I did see some green lights behind the clouds! They were quite difficult to see with the eyes but we could catch them with the cameras. We waited longer to see if it would get brighter, but it did not. they were still very weak. Later during the tour, the sky cleared up A LOT, and almost all of the sky was clear. So we were just waiting for the northern lights to appear, but unfortunately, they did not. We even stayed longer at sea to higher our chances but nothing happened. So we went back towards the harbor and of course, all the passengers are more than welcome to come back on the tour for free!
