Clear skies and Auroras

Tonight the sky was clear and instead of high clouds later in the evening, that were predicted in the forecast, the sky stayed clear.
As we left the Old harbour in Reykjavík we got an arc from above the mountain Esja towards west. The activity picked up and set of a charge of movement and bright green colours. This went on for a period and then calmed down but maintained presence.
After some time at our destination point the arc started falling slowly in and out. It eventually faded out as we returned to port. We got back at around 23:25.
