Shy Cetaceans in Faxaflói Bay

We sailed out on our first whale watching tour of 2019 with hope in our hearts, eager to see what the new year had in store for us. We faced some adventurous weather conditions as we headed out from the Old Harbor in Reykjavík, and searched carefully in the feeding grounds of Faxaflói Bay. On a day like today, our free warm overalls definitely came in handy, keeping our passengers nice and cozy as we searched. Unfortunately, despite the very best efforts of our eagle-eyed crew, the cetaceans decided not to pay us a visit today, so we invited everyone on board to come again for free for another chance to see them.
