Whales of Iceland & FlyOver Iceland are located next to each other in the Grandi Harbour district, making it easy for you to spend a fun afternoon visiting and exploring both locations.
Whales of Iceland features 23 life-size models of all whales species found in Icelandic waters. You can enjoy interactive experiences, underwater footage of whales, daily live-guided tours of the museum, and our new Fin Whale Room that highlights the threats (and their solutions) that whales face today. Walking through this wonder world of soothing whale sounds, ambient underwater lighting and beach-like floors truly makes you feel like you are deep underwater to see these gentle giants. In addition to the live-guided tours at 11:00 and 15:00, the film Sonic Sea is shown at 10:30, 12:15, 14:00, and 15:45. Both are available to all visitors at no extra cost. After you have finished exploring the museum, grab a coffee and pastry at our Whale Cafe and visit the gift shop full of unique and eco-friendly products.
Just across the street from Whales of Iceland, FlyOver Iceland is a fantastic addition to your afternoon.
