This morning the wind remained slow resulting in calm sea, almost clear sky and sunshine. We headed out to north west and before arriving to the feeding ground of the whales, a gathering of birds was sighted. We came closer and found minke whales coming up and moving in different directions…
9 am and 13 pm tour
Sunshine in Reykjavik 🙂 We started our trip with a wonderful view at Mount Esja and Snæfellsnes Glacier which is the center of the Earth, at least according to Jules Verne and his story. 10 am and 14 pm tour.
The weather conditions were excellent today 🙂 We saw around the 10 Minke whales and at least 20 White beaked Dolphins. One Minke was surfacing next to the boat,.

Another morning with calm sea, good visibility and almost no wind at the bay of Faxaflói. The glacier at Snæfellsnes showed its kingdom as our captain set course to the north west. Soon we found three or four minke whales that came up in different direction around the ship.
This morning the bay was calm as a lake, the Snæfellsnes peninsula wore its Sunday best and the its glacier showed its kingdom. Heading for the feeding ground of the whale we found gathering of birds, a display of the seabirds that frequent the bay, where we slowed down the observe.
Friday morning under a cloudy and rainy sky we headed out to the bay. We spotted several Minke Whales coming up to the surface very close to the boat.
We left from the old harbour this morning, and the sun was shining and the sea was calm. It did not take us a long time to find something. We spotted a breaching Humpback whale!
This morning the sea was calm with a slow wind from north east and visibility was good. Our captain had set the course to north west, and we were heading for the feeding ground of the whales, when we saw one humpback whale. We soon found another one as they came up for air and headed east.
This morning the wind was slow from the north east so the bay stayed calm. We searched to the south where we saw a full grown minke whale come up and also a calf did the same.
