Set sail from Reykjavík’s Old Harbour for your  whale watching wildlife adventure with Special Tours. On this tour you can expect to experience some of Iceland’s rich and thriving bird life, as well as our wide variety of sea life, including humpback whales, minke whales, harbour porpoises and white-beaked dolphins. Our focus on every tour is comfort, unique experiences and personal service while ensuring that the environment is protected and respected in every way possible.

Our experienced guides are marine biologists who will welcome you aboard and share all sorts of interesting information about the different wildlife you may expect to see on your tour. You will learn how to spot whales out in the bay and are always welcome to ask questions throughout the tour.

Express Whale Watching tours are operated in summer, from June 1st – August 31st, on one of our express boat: Rósin. Both are excellent for whale watching and have fast cruising speeds, getting you out to the whale watching grounds in a shorter time. This allows you to spend the same amount of time in the whale watching area as on our Classic Whale Watching tour, but saves you time travelling out and back. This makes it a great option for people who are short on time but big on adventure and want to experience a whale watching adventure during their visit/stay in Reykjavik. Whale Watching Express is operated on our fast-cruising catamaran, getting you out to the whale watching grounds quickly!
